Flights to TaveuniSunAir and AirFiji have daily flights to Taveuni from Nadi via Savusavu and AirFiji has direct flights from Suva. Flight time is just under one hour. The Taveuni airport is located near Matei in the north of the island. There are a number of resorts and accommodation options near the airport.Getting to Taveuni by FerryBeachcomber's 'Adi Savusavu' and the 'SOFI' both offer ferry services to the 'Garden Island'. The trip to Taveuni from Savusavu is approximately 7 hours. There is also a small ferry from Buca Bay on the eastern side of Vanuat Levu to Taveuni. The ferry is just for persons and does not carry cars or trucks. |
